Key Objectives:
❑ Consider right-sizing the number of students by building as aligned with each feeder
For existing inventory, consider use of spaces, facility condition assessments, and other metrics
❑ Review all three levels of boundaries (Elementary School, Middle School, and High School)
Solution: Adjustment to all feeders to achieve objectives
Guiding Principles (BOE Guidance May 25, 2025)
❑ Focus changes where there is ability to right size the enrollment and building utilization by feeder
❑ Attendance area changes should be recommended for the 2026/27 school year
❑ Address building challenges of over-capacity and under-utilization throughout the district
❑ Prioritize a complete feeder system from elementary to middle to high schools
❑ The district to continue with class size guidelines when considering enrollment balance
